Software Engineering is: the application of engineering discipline to the field of software development often confused with:

• Information Systems (IS),
• Information Technology (IT),
• Computer Science (CS),
• Computer Engineering,
• programming, and
• witchcraft.

Software Engineering is usually managed by people who have great project management skills but a lack of understanding of the fabric of software. Wonderfully taught at many universities, but diluted in industry practice.

My chief research interest lies in the area of software engineering ethics, which I believe will be the next major breakthrough area in solving the evolving software crisis. 

•  The increase in outsourcing of  software development overseas, increases the need for cost-effective, honest strategies at transition points. 
•  Ethics training us trivialized in most companies because it is poorly understood. 
•  A serious treatment of ethical conduct between engineering and management drastically improves a company's morale and profit margins.

I’ve studied for over 20 years how to efficiently improve software development efforts.  I'm offering my experiences and knowledge in a variety of cost-effective methods.  Whether you need assistance in traditional software engineering tasks, or more advanced help, I offer a variety of services.
